Les Grenadiers are seeking their first win in the World Cup tonight.

Haiti will face Brazil in a tough FIFA World Cup 2026 Group C clash at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on June 19. After a narrow loss to Scotland in their opener, the Caribbean side are still searching for their first win in the tournament after a 52-year absence from the World Cup.

Making their first World Cup appearance since 1978, Les Grenadiers suffered a 1-0 loss to Scotland. Despite playing well in the match, John McGinn’s first-half goal condemned the minnows to defeat in their first match, jeopardising their qualification hopes.

With a tough clash against Morocco to follow, the Red and Blues know that another defeat will make their path to the Round of 32 even tougher. Despite Brazil’s drab 1-1 draw with Morocco, the Selecao have a brilliant record against tonight’s opponents, winning all three of their last head-to-head meetings. The South American side scored 17 goals in those three matches, conceding just once.

As a result, Les Grenadiers will enter the contest as massive underdogs. However, this World Cup has already seen some shock results, including Cape Verde’s draw against Spain. Sebastien Migne’s side will take inspiration from that performance and hope to replicate it against the five-time champions.
