The Polish striker is reportedly leaving the club next summer.
It has been believed that this is Robert Lewandowski’s last season at FC Barcelona, and the striker who arrived in 2022 is set to leave them at the end of the season.
Barcelona will begin their search for his replacement before the start of next summer’s window and will identify the ideal centre-forward who can take the Polish striker’s place.
However, it appears that Hansi Flick has already found the former Bayern Munich forward’s successor with Dortmund centre-forward Serhou Guirassy emerging as the perfect candidate to replace Lewandowski, according to Bild.
Lewandowski enjoyed a productive last season, scoring 42 goals in all competitions. However, in this campaign, he has only started one game, scoring a brace against Valencia.
Meanwhile, Ferran Torres has seemingly become a first-choice for Flick ahead of Lewandowski in the No.9 position. Nonetheless, the Catalan club are still looking to sign a prolific striker.
Flick identifies Lewandowski replacement at Barcelona

Barcelona are now preparing their life after the former Dortmund centre-forward. They will need to bring a top candidate to succeed him at the club next season.
Meanwhile, Hansi Flick sees Serhou Guirassy as the ideal striker to replace Lewandowski next season, who has all the qualities to become Barcelona’s next star centre-forward.
The 29-year-old has been in sensational form ever since joining Dortmund. Last season, the striker scored 38 goals in all competitions and even finished as a joint top scorer in the Champions League.
Moreover, this season, the Guinean international has started on a strong note, netting four goals in four matches. Dortmund are said to be open to the idea of selling the player for a price tag worth €100 million.
But the Spanish club’s financial limitations could spoil their chances of signing Guirassy next window. Moreover, it remains to be seen if they will be ready to spend a big sum for a player who is in his late 20s.
