Hansi Flick’s incredible record in cup finals for Barcelona & Bayern Munich

The German manager has never lost a final as a coach.
Hailing from Germany, Hansi Flick manages the LaLiga giants FC Barcelona. He joined Blaugrana in 2024 and has managed to win a couple of titles so far. In the past, he has managed teams like Bayern Munich, Victoria Bammental, TSG Hoffenheim and the Germany national football team.
Before aligning with Barcelona, he had already won five different titles, which included, UEFA Champions League, DFB Pokal, UEFA Super Cup, German Super Cup and the Club World Cup while managing Bayern Munich.
Since joining Barca in 2024, Hansi Flick has managed the LaLiga giants in 53 matches. Blaugrana have won 40 matches and have only lost seven games. The remaining six fixtures have ended in a draw. He has already clinched a couple of titles with Barcelona and is looking to secure a treble this year.

DFB-Pokal (2019-20)
The high-stakes German Cup fixture took place between Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. Hansi Flick-led Bavarians started off the final on a strong note. David Alaba and Serge Gnabry scored a goal each in the first half to put them in the lead.
Although they conceded a couple of goals in the second half, Robert Lewandowski came in with a brace to rescue Bayern and win the title.
UEFA Champions League (2019-20)
Hansi Flick led Bayern Munich to their sixth UEFA Champions League title during the 2019-20 season. The UCL final took place between PSG and Bayern Munich. The Bavarians were overall the better side.
Kingsley Coman was the sole goal scorer during the 2019-20 UCL final. His goal led the Bavarians to their sixth UCL triumph.
German Super Cup (2020)
The intense final of the DFL Supercup took place between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. The Bavarians took a lead in the first half as Corentin Tolisso and Thomas Muller scored a goal each. Julian Brandt and Erling Haaland equalised for Dortmund as they also scored a goal each.
Joshua Kimmich stepped up and scored the match-winner and helped Hansi Flick get Bayern to their eighth German Super Cup title win.
UEFA Super Cup (2020)
UEFA Champions League winners Bayern Munich and the UEFA Europa League winners Sevilla went face to face for the UEFA Super Cup 2020. The LaLiga side Sevilla took an early lead. But the Bavarians fought back as Leon Goretzka scored an equaliser.
Javi Martinez scored the match-winner in extra time and helped Bayern win.
FIFA Club World Cup (2020-21)
Hansi Flick’s Bayern Munich battled against Tigres UANL in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup tournament. It was overall a close fixture between the two teams. But despite the strong attacking front, the Bavarians were only able to score a single goal.
Benjamin Pavard was the one to score. This was their second FIFA Club World Cup title win.
Spanish Super Cup (2025)
It was an El Clásico final and Barcelona ran riot over Los Blancos. Although Kylian Mbappe gave an early lead to Real Madrid, Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Alejandro Balde scored a goal each in the first half to put Barca in front.
Raphinha completed his brace early in the second half, ending things for Los Blancos. Rodrygo from Real Madrid scored a consolation goal in the second half. Hansi Flick led Barcelona to the 15th Supercopa de Espana title.
Copa del Rey (2024-25)
It was another El Clásico, and Barcelona stood tall against Real Madrid. Pedri opened the scoring and put Barca in front. Later in the second half, Kylian Mbappe and Aurelien Tchouameni scored a goal each to help Los Blancos take the lead.
Ferran Torres kept Barcelona alive after scoring the equaliser in the second half itself. Jules Kounde scored an important goal during the extra time, which led Barcelona to their 32nd Copa del Rey trophy.
