Have Morocco qualified for knockouts of FIFA World Cup 2026?

The Morocco national football team continue to prove why they are one of the top contenders to be on the grandest stage of them all. They were placed in Group C alongside Brazil, Scotland and Haiti.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is taking place in the USA, Mexico and Canada. A total of 1,248 players are competing for the prestigious title across 48 nations. The mega competition is now heading to the knockout stage. Here, only 32 countries will be left to battle for the World Cup crown.

Mexico and the USA were the first teams to secure a berth in the round of 32. A lot of other countries are now fighting to secure a spot in the last 32. The flagship tournament is only going to be intense from here on.

Has Morocco qualified for round of 32?

The Morocco national football team faced Brazil in their opening game and were held to a 1-1 draw. It was a good performance by the African champions. This helped them secure one point here.

The Atlas Lions then took on Scotland. They came out on top with a 1-0 victory and secured their first win in the FIFA World Cup 2026. It was a narrow win for them, but it was crucial. With three points more, they had four points, but did not confirm their spot in the final 32.

The Mohamed Ouahbi-led side took on Haiti in their final group stage outing. In the early minutes, things were not looking good for them. The Morocco national football team made a strong comeback and secured a 4-2 victory. With this win, they confirmed their berth in the round of 32 of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Brazil topped the group and have also secured a spot in the knockout stage from Group C. Things are not yet confirmed for Scotland until the group stage is concluded.
