The league has recorded £3 billion in expenditure following the end of the 2025 summer window, with Liverpool topping the table after spending a record £415 million. They finally managed to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle United on deadline day. Clubs with the most income from sales in the 2025 summer transfer window
5. Newcastle – €175M

Following the exit of Alexander Isak for a British transfer record, Newcastle United have recorded an excellent income in the 2025 summer window. They also saw another star striker, Callum Wilson, leave the club for West Ham United. It only aided the club in earning €175M in total.
It will surely help the club avoid breaking the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rule. The club have also had new arrivals. They made big signings, including Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa.
4. Liverpool – €220M

Liverpool have been one of the most active clubs during the recent transfer window. The Premier League champions took their spending to £415m, and broke the British transfer record twice this window. They have seriously reinforced their attacking line by bringing the likes of Hugo Eikitike and Isak.
However, they have also made a decent revenue with player sales. They bid adieu to many star players such as Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott. Hence, the club have generated substantial income despite being one of the top spenders in the recent window.
3. Bayer Leverkusen – €230M

Bayer Leverkusen are the only non-Premier League club to have witnessed a massive influx of money from player sales on this list. They have undergone a deep change in their team, as the club have sold many title-winning players. One of the major changes included the departure of manager Xabi Alonso, who left for Real Madrid.
His exit led to many top players also leaving the team. The likes of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Jonathan Tah, Granit Xhaka and now the recent season-long loan deal departure of Piero Hincapié are the significant names. The club generated €230 million in income from player sales.
Meanwhile, they also appointed Erik ten Hag, who only lasted a few weeks before being fired by the club.
2. AFC Bournemouth – €238M
Bournemouth stand second among the Premier League clubs with the most income, €238M, as Andoni Iraola’s side have made a great profit from their players’ departures.
The Cherries finished ninth last season and hoped to provide Iraola with more resources in the squad, but instead, endured many players leaving the club. However, this has not affected the team as they continue to impress with their performance. So far, they have won two games out of three in the Premier League.
1. Chelsea – €332M
Despite Chelsea’s heavy spending since the arrival of new owners, the club have done impressive business by offloading players and earning the most income in this 2025 summer transfer window. The Blues have recorded €332M income, which is the most by any club in the league and across Europe. This time, the club have mainly prioritised selling many players at a high price instead of buying many.
