Holstein Kiel have found life difficult in the Bundesliga after failing to win any of their games while also conceding most goals thus far. After opening the season with three consecutive defeats against Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg & Bayern Munich, the team did collect their first point of the season against Bochum in the last game.

It was a four-goal thriller which ended in a 2-2 scoreline. Marcel Rapp’s side will have to improve their defensive display to maintain their position before it gets too late for them. 

Eintracht Frankfurt on the other hand have made an excellent start to the new season. Although they lost the opening game against Dortmund, Dino Toppmöller’s side have bounced back to win three consecutive matches in a row against Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg & Borussia Monchengladbach. It is quite a remarkable turnaround for them given the victories they have pulled arguably against some of the best sides in the league.

Benedikt Pichler (Holstein Kiel)

Benedikt Pichler has been one of the shining lights for the newly promoted side Holstein Kiel. He was impressive in the last match against Bochum, netting the opening goal of the match. He also showed his wonderful hold-up game and aerial threat.

Pichler works hard for the team, covering a lot of ground to make things difficult for the opposition. Hopefully, he can contribute to the team again in this match. 

Omar Marmoush (⁠Eintracht Frankfurt)

The Egypt international has been in remarkable form this season scoring four goals from four matches and also assisting another one. Given the license to roam freely in the attacking half, Marmoush has looked sharp in the current formation Frankfurt have deployed this season.

He is a wonderful striker who is excellent at breaking the offside trap using his excellent movements and pace while also being clinical in front of the goal.
