The Saudi Super Cup semifinal match between Al Nassr and Al Hilal ended with the Portuguese star losing his cool.
With four minutes remaining on the clock, the five-time recipient of the Ballon d’Or was sent off for elbowing Ali Al-Bulaihi. According to the match referee’s report, Ronaldo struck an opponent with “excessive force,” which resulted in his dismissal.
The 39-year-old, who never goes out of style, vehemently disagreed with the judgement and made his point before making his way out of the tunnel.
Al-Riyadiya claims that Ronaldo will now suffer a two-match suspension. Because of his acts, he will also have to pay a fine of 20,000 riyals. He just got back from a ban that was imposed for reacting angrily to opposition supporters’ insults of “Messi.”

On May 1, they will play the second of those two teams in the King Cup of Champions semifinals. Ronaldo will be eligible to play again in 2024 when they will try to win more significant hardware.
