Hungary announce squad for March international break; Dominik Szoboszlai included

The Magyars will face Turkey twice in the competition.
The Hungary National Football Team have called up two bright young stars for their UEFA Nations League qualifying match against Türkiye. According to manager Marco Rossi, the newcomers are Alex Tóth, a midfielder for Ferencváros, and Bence Dárdai, a midfielder for the German team VfL Wolfsburg, who has been summoned by the national team for the Nations League fixture.
According to head coach Marco Rossi, 26 have been picked and are expected to play in the Nations League qualifiers against Turkey on Thursday and Sunday.
“Alex plays regularly for Ferencváros and performs well in midfield, while Bence mostly comes on as a substitute but regularly gets opportunities to play in the Bundesliga, and is part of a pretty strong team. I think this was the right time to send them an invitation,” said the coach.
Since the defender is finally receiving more opportunities in his club squad, Attila Szalai is making a long-awaited comeback to the Hungary national team squad. Rossi did, however, clarify that because there aren’t many games, Ádám Nagy isn’t currently playing for the club, which led to his exclusion from the team.
“I have tried tactical changes before, but as the result shows, it did not end well, so I do not think that now is the time for it,” Hungary coach remarked when questioned how he would handle the issue involving both Zsolt Nagy and Milos Kerkez on the field at the same time.
