Is Lionel Messi prepared to lead Inter Miami to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025?

Messi has scored five goals in his last three games after putting up an outstanding 2025 MLS season. Inter Miami’s standings in the MLS Eastern Conference have moved up from sixth to third because of his outstanding impact.

With 10 goals and six assists so far this season, Messi has emerged as the league’s top performer. He has contributed five goals and four assists to the Herons’ current three-game winning streak. Messi is prepared for the crucial competition after being the first player to earn Player of the Matchday twice in a row this season.

On June 14, Inter Miami, under the leadership of Messi, will play their first game of the Club World Cup against Al Ahly of Egypt at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

After that, on June 19, Inter Miami will play FC Porto of Portugal at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. On June 23, they will play SE Palmeiras of Brazil in Miami, which will be their final group stage match.
