For their second group stage outing, the Portugal national football team went head-to-head against the Uzbekistan national football team. The FIFA World Cup 2026 clash took place at the Houston Stadium.

The Roberto Martinez-led side underperformed in their opening game of the mega competition after they were held to a 1-1 draw against DR Congo. Their defence did not look up to the mark and the world-class midfield was not quite effective. They have now turned the tide in their second group stage game. They are looking much more organised and have put in a well-balanced performance.

As things stand, Uzbekistan will be eliminated from the FIFA World Cup 2026 after their lacklustre effort against the Portugal national football team. They must have worked on coming in with a calm and composed approach, but they failed to do so and conceded three goals.

IShowSpeed reactions to Ronaldo and Portugal’ goals

Cristiano Ronaldo was the first to put the Portugal national football team in an advantageous position. He scored a goal in under seven minutes and became the oldest scorer at the FIFA World Cup. American YouTube sensation IShowSpeed was also present at the game and he was full of joy after CR7 fired the ball at the back of the net. He almost jumped out of the stands.

Left-back Nuno Mendes doubled the lead for Selecao das Quinas after he scored a sensational direct free-kick goal in the 17th minute. Speed was quite literally surprised after looking at the effort from Mendes.

Cristiano Ronaldo completed an astonishing brace after Bruno Fernandes came in with a brilliant through ball in the final third. CR7 sent the ball at the back of the net with a clinical touch. IShowSpeed in the stands almost started crying and was full of joy after the five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored his second goal of the game.
