Julian Nagelsmann issues injury update on Arsenal star Kai Havertz

The striker has been out with an injury for four months.
Kai Havertz’s return to action has been delayed. His international coach revealed he is still recovering from the knee injury he sustained four months ago.
The last thing Mikel Arteta needs is another injury blow after losing star defender Gabriel Magalhaes to a thigh injury earlier this week, which ended his November international duty with Brazil.

Martin Odegaard, Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli, Viktor Gyokeres, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz are just a few of the important attackers who are sidelined for Arsenal. The team is, however, currently leading the Premier League standings after an incredible run of play. Moreover, they haven’t lost a single game since their 1-0 loss to Liverpool in August, which clearly demonstrates they have managed remarkably well.
After rupturing his ACL against Manchester United at the beginning of 2025, Jesus has been on the treatment table for a considerable amount of time. He is the latest player scheduled to return to action.
According to reputable media outlets like Standard Sport, Odegaard is in the same situation as Madueke. The latter is rushing to be fit for this weekend’s match against Tottenham after impressing Arsenal rehab experts in his recuperation from a knee issue.
Kai Havertz suffers a setback in his recovery
Kai Havertz was also thought to be in the running, but an update from Julian Nagelsmann raises doubts over his potential participation on Sunday against Spurs.
The 26-year-old, who had just recovered from a hamstring injury that kept him out for months, was incapacitated in the first week of the Premier League season and needed knee surgery.
Kai Havertz has had a difficult period. Although rumours indicate that he has been doing well in his Arsenal rehabilitation, much like Madueke, Nagelsmann suggested otherwise.
The Germany manager stated that he anticipates Havertz’s return “towards the end of the year” in an intriguing forecast made to reporters this week.
Which injury has Kai Havertz suffered?
He has had a relapse in his recovery from a knee injury.
When will he return?
Nagelsmann revealed he will return at the end of the year.
How long has he been out for?
He has been out for four months.
