Julio Baptista give his verdict on Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi 'GOAT debate'

Baptista feels Ronaldo has proved himself at different clubs.
According to Julio Baptista, Cristiano Ronaldo has “more variety on his CV” than Lionel Messi, giving him the upper hand in the GOAT discussion.
The former forward for Real Madrid and Arsenal expressed his opinion on both GOATs. In addition to praising Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, Baptista expressed his belief that the two men inspired one another to achieve ever-higher professional goals. However, according to Baptista, Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest of all time since he had a more “difficult” route to the top.
Messi’s lengthy stint with Barcelona was not as spectacular as per Baptista. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo stamped his authority as the finest player in the football world at Manchester United and won the Champions League with the Red Devils prior to his several triumphs at Real Madrid and Juventus.
He believed that Messi’s “natural talent” was overshadowed by CR7’s career trajectory and his versatility in performing in “so many different places.” With Messi dominating MLS at Inter Miami and Ronaldo on the books of Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr, both men are still defying the passing of time.
Baptista said: “If I had to choose, then I think you need to consider the fact that it more difficult for Cristiano. Cristiano won the best player in the world playing at Manchester United. He won the Champions League playing for Manchester United, which was a little more difficult. Messi, he has my respect, but he played for one club, Barcelona.”
“I would like and would have loved to have seen Messi at many different clubs, to know what he can do. Yes he went to PSG, but it wasn’t really the same thing, and now he is in the MLS. ”
“Messi was always with good players, but Cristiano played in so many different places. So for me, what Cristiano was doing was more difficult than what Messi did. Ronaldo has more variety on his CV and I think that he should be applauded for that and rewarded as the GOAT too.”
Ronaldo and Messi will always remain linked in the hearts and thoughts of football fans worldwide, despite the fact that both players are in their twilight years and currently play on different continents. The argument regarding Messi and Ronaldo’s rivalry is expected to go on for the remainder of the game, regardless of how long they play.
