Nice are ready to accept a lower fee for Thuram
Last summer, Khephren Thuram, 23, was greatly sought after. OGC Nice reportedly asked for €40 million in exchange for the France international. He did, however, end up staying at the Allianz Riviera for an additional season. According to Nice-Matin, it is very possible that he will leave this season, though maybe for a far lesser sum.
“Regarding what happened in the transfer window, I decided to stay. I wanted to continue to progress at Nice, and progress as a player at this club. Honestly, it made me happy to be linked to all these clubs left, right and centre. It shows I’m doing the right things but as I said, I knew I wanted to stay here,” revealed Thuram in a press conference, attended by Get French Football News, in November 2023.
Thuram has battled at times this season, but in the eyes of Francesco Farioli, he finishes as a “more complete midfielder.” The Frenchman’s season has been less analytically remarkable and his position on the team has altered.

It’s currently anticipated that he’ll depart from Le Gym. Thuram’s contract expires after just one year. Because of this, Nice might only ask for €15–20 million for the midfield player, who has already attracted interest from the Premier League. The Nice player has historically piqued Juventus’ interest as well.
Khephren Thuram, 22, was a “priority objective” for Liverpool last summer, according to the French daily L’Equipe, which stated that the player was “seduced” and that a move to Anfield appeared likely.
Barcelona were previously claimed to be following Khephren Thuram. Thuram, the brother of France forward Marcus Thuram, was born in Italy. His parents are the French legend Lillian Thuram and her brother. He recently made his senior team debut. He has competed for France at all youth levels.
He has been called one of the revelations of the French season and is enjoying a fantastic season with Nice in Ligue 1. As Thuram’s contract expires next year, he might be more reasonably priced. He is reportedly thrilled about the prospect of joining a quality squad.
