LAFC are in a redemption period with the team bouncing back in recent games to bring a sign of relief to the fans. After a winless run of five matches, Black and Gold have managed to secure two consecutive matches in a row which has surely sealed their place in the playoffs.

Steven Cherundolo’s changes particularly in these matches have been spot on with the team delivering back-to-back excellent games securing victory over Sporting Kansas City and Cincinnati. He has so far scored two goals for his new team with both of them coming in the Leagues Cup. Hopefully, a goal here can turn the tables for him for the upcoming games.

Joao Klauss (St. Louis City)

Joao Klauss, despite leading the goal-scoring charts for the team, has struggled to replicate his best form this season. After scoring ten goals in 21 matches in MLS last term, Klauss has managed to score five goals in the current campaign despite appearing 26 times for them. This has partly been due to a lack of goal-scoring chances in front of him. Hopefully, he can score some goals here and guide his team to another victory.
