LaLiga 2024-25: List of all club captains

Dani Carvajal is the captain of defending champions Real Madrid.
This season, LaLiga implemented a new regulation, limiting club captains’ ability to speak with referees on the pitch. This could affect the club captain and their ability to protest against the referee for a longer time.
The new LaLiga season began with exciting matches. The season is still in its early phase. There is way more entertainment around the corner, with big sides like Barcelona and Real Madrid fighting for the title. Moreover like Girona last season, there could be another underdog who could prove to be a problem for the big sides.
With a new season, we often have a new captain for every club. This term also we have witnessed clubs naming new skippers: Barcelona named Marc-André ter Stegen after the exit of Sergio Roberto and Real Madrid appointed Dani Carvajal & Luka Modric as the skipper of the club after Nacho Fernandez left the team.
Robert Lewandowski, one of Barcelona’s most seasoned and well-known players, has been passed over for a leadership position for the second year in a row. Many people anticipated that the Polish striker, who also serves as his country’s captain, would be a part of the leadership group, particularly following last season in which he was a vital component of Barcelona’s offensive.
