Lamine Yamal dismisses breakup rumours with girlfriend Nicki Nicole

The youngster has been dating the Argentine rapper.

Following Spain’s decisive victory over Turkey, Lamine Yamal provided a nuanced response to rumours regarding his personal life.

Nico Williams, his teammate, captured the FC Barcelona youngster grinning in the dressing room while he displayed his phone screen with a picture of his girlfriend, Nicki Nicole, as his background.

“Mi chaval está in love,” which translates to “My boy is in love,” was the playful words Williams used while sharing the video.

Despite reports in Spain last week that Yamal and Nicole had broken up, the playful discussion seemed to prove that the 18-year-old is still seeing Nicole.

Only 13 days after going public, Marca said they had erased all evidence of one another on Instagram, which sparked rumours of a split.

The video, which was extensively circulated on social media on Sunday night, refuted those allegations and seemed to demonstrate that the couple are still together.

Spain beat Turkey while Yamal loses his passport

Mikel Merino, a midfielder for Arsenal, scored a hat-trick as Spain crushed Turkey at Konya at the conclusion of the evening.

The best of the goals came from Merino, who curled home from more than 20 yards out after receiving a pass from Yamal in the 57th minute. The 29-year-old has already scored six goals in six games for Spain in 2025.

Luis de la Fuente’s team startled their hosts with two goals from Pedri, one from Ferran Torres, and three goals from Merino. In Group E, Spain have now won both of their World Cup qualifying matches, while Georgia and Turkey are tied at three points.

Drama also ensued following the last whistle. As the team got ready to leave the stadium, Yamal lost his passport, according to Turkish publication Beyaz Futbol.

While staff and players waited to leave, footage showed the irate winger rummaging through his suitcase in an attempt to find the document.
