With two goals and an assist, the Argentine veteran reached an incredible career total of 400 assists and is now within six goals of 900.

Lionel Messi’s outstanding performance increased his career goal total to 894 and his assist total to 400, which is second only to Ferenc Puskás in football history.

With 44 goals and 21 assists in 50 games in 2025, his stats are ridiculous. That level of consistency is unmatched by any other active player.

Since moving to the club, the Argentine has managed to lead the Herons to a trophy in every season. Once again, he will be motivated to end the current term with a trophy before the 2025 MLS Cup campaign ends in December.
