The model is set to confront Messi’s family at the 2026 World Cup.

According to The Sun, Lionel Messi’s wife has been accused of preventing model Suzy Cortez from going to the MLS Cup final after she allegedly sent Messi “sexy messages.” Cortez was not there to see Messi’s heroics when he eventually lifted the championship.

Model Cruz was prevented from attending Inter Miami’s MLS Cup final match against Vancouver Whitecaps by Messi’s wife, Roccuzzo, according to The Sun.

The Herons won 3-1 under Messi’s leadership, adding further trophies to an already full cabinet. Lionel Messi had already blocked Cortez for allegedly bombarding him with “sexy pictures” on Instagram.

After being unblocked by the FC Barcelona legend, the former Brazilian “Miss BumBum” champion planned a sensual photo shoot. She has now criticised Roccuzzo for restricting her access to her husband in real life.

Cruz has stated that Roccuzzo’s desire that she should be excluded from the final “humiliated” her. According to reports, she personally requested Miami’s employees. Additionally, she said that Messi and his extended family had blocked her on social media once more.

Speaking with Extra, she stated:

“I felt humiliated. No one should be banned from a public sporting event because of personal issues or disputes on social media.”

The possibility of confronting Lionel Messi’s family at the 2026 World Cup, which she intends to attend in the US, Mexico, and Canada, has also not been ruled out. Cruz is a huge fan of Messi and even has personal tattoos of the former PSG player. She earlier shared a video of herself getting a tattoo on her body that was inspired by Messi.

Messi’s goal is to lift the World Cup once more in the summer, although he is now in the off-season with Inter Miami. Argentina already know who they will play in the group stages: Algeria, Austria, and Jordan.
