Some top Manchester United stars are heading to the Biggest Stage!

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup right around the corner, nations have announced their ultimate squads for the tournament, with the ultimate aim to win the prestigious trophy.

Almost every competing nation, from favourites to debutants, has finalized their squads and has begun training for the tournament. Clubs are also set to benefit from the tournament, as each team recieves $11,000 per day for every player from that particular team competing in the World Cup.

With the payout system, a player will earn their club a minimum of $250,000, even if they get eliminated from the group stages.

Manchester United are one such club who are set to benefit from the pay structure. The English side had an exceptional season. Despite a poor start, the team rejuvenated themselves under new manager Michael Carrick, securing a 3rd place Premier League season finish.

The brilliant finish to the season has propelled some of United’s greatest performers to the grand World Cup stage. Players like Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes are getting the deserved callups.

However, the side also saw surprising exclusions, with players like Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw missing the World Cup despite a strong season.

One of the notable additions was Kobbie Mainoo, who was initially struggling for minutes in the squad. However, with the arrival of Michael Carrick, Mainoo was one of the trusted players, performing exceptionally in a double pivot role.

Another notable addition is youngster Tyler Fletcher. Despite not being included in Scotland’s initial World Cup squad. However, an injury to midfielder Billy Gilmpour forced the side to look for replacements, with the young player being preferred ahead of various veterans.
