No players from Real Madrid called up to represent La Roja!

The European champions have been on a sensational run of form. They are now going to shift their focus to the 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup, which is set to take place in Canada, Mexico and the USA.

Led by Luis de la Fuente, the Spain national football team are going to battle it out against Iraq and Peru ahead of the upcoming edition of the mega competition. This will surely help them build some momentum heading on to the world stage.

La Roja consists of some of the top-of-the-line players from the top leagues of Europe. Stars like Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal are going to play an important role in the attacking front.

To establish control in the midfield, de la Fuente has opted for options like Martin Zubimendi, Rodri, Fabian Ruiz an others. The defensive wall of Spain at the FIFA World Cup 2026 consists of names such as Eric García, Marc Cucurella, Alejandro Grimaldo, Pau Cubarsí, Aymeric Laporte, Marc Pubill, Marcos Llorente and Pedro Porro.

Between the poles, Unai Simon, David Raya and Joan Garcia are the names selected by the Spanish head coach.

For the first time since 1950, no Real Madrid star is going to represent La Roja at the grandest stage of them all.
