Luis de la Fuente’s men will now be looking to make a mark at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The final 26-man contingent has been unveiled and is ready to represent the Spain national football team on the biggest stage of football.
La Roja are placed in Group H. They are going to have a face-off against Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay for their group stage games. The European champions are most likely going to get through to the group stage. They are also one of the favourites to win the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Before stepping foot onto the grandest stage of them all, the Luis de la Fuente-led side are going to compete in two international friendly matches. They will first lock horns against Iraq and then go on to face Peru.
Top stars like Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams, Mikel Oyarzabal have found their way in the final list of players to represent the Spain national football team at FIFA’s flagship tournament, which is set to take place in Canada, Mexico and the USA.
