The Reds have a minor injury concern for their next clash.

With three victories out of three in the Premier League, including a decisive 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, Arne Slot has led the Reds to an ideal start in the current campaign.

This is an excellent start from the Reds under a new manager. A lot of concerns were raised about whether the club had made the right choice by appointing Slot as Jurgen Klopp’s replacement. All these concerns have been diminished with their current form in the league.

Liverpool injury news ahead of Nottingham Forest clash.

In the early going of the season, the Liverpool manager has a comparatively injury-free roster to select from. Alexis Mac Allister’s forced substitution during Argentina’s triumph over Chile last week did raise some concerns.

Despite rumours circulating in Argentina that the former Brighton player was having adductor issues, he was judged healthy enough to be included in the team for Tuesday’s match against Colombia.

Nonetheless, Mac Allister’s performance off the bench in that match was encouraging for Liverpool. On Thursday, Mac Allister, Allison Becker and Luis Diaz, who are from South America, should return to the UK and prepare for their clash against Forest.

Moreover, Harvey Elliot suffered a fractured foot during the international break. It will keep him out of action until the end of October. The 21-year-old sustained a knock during practice last week, forcing him to miss the England Under-21 game.

While Curtis Jones was an unutilised substitute in Liverpool’s opening-day victory over Ipswich Town in August, he was absent from the team’s last two games. Jones is now back to his regular training regimen and might be able to make a Saturday squad comeback.

Meanwhile, Federico Chiesa hopes to join the team for the Saturday game. The Italy international arrived from Juventus late in the transfer window. He did not play versus United.

The forward seemingly is getting much-needed time to adjust to life on Merseyside. He is currently working with the first-team squad. Chiesa did not get called up to the Italy squad for the international break.

Joe Gomez and Darwin Nunez, who have been serving a five-match ban for international competitions, were present at training on Monday.
