The Reds will play the Hammers next in the Premier League.
Liverpool will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they play West Ham after enjoying a few days off this week.
Alexis Mac Allister’s stoppage-time goal delivered the Reds a decisive victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend, significantly boosting their chances of qualifying for the Champions League.
However, there were issues with that game as well. Florian Wirtz had to withdraw from the team just before kickoff due to a back ailment, giving Liverpool yet another injury issue.
Wirtz hasn’t been spotted in training this week, indicating that he will be a serious doubt for tomorrow’s match at Anfield, even though the seriousness of the problem has been downplayed.

Apart from Florian Wirtz’s doubtful return, Jeremie Frimpong has given Liverpool a significant boost since returning to training this week.
Frimpong will be ready against West Ham, according to Arne Slot. However, Florian Wirtz appears to be out after missing this week’s training. Slot has stated that he is unsure of the duration of the German playmaker’s absence.
“I don’t expect Florian to be available. That’s a disappointment of course,” Arne Slot told reporters at the AXA Training Centre.
“Every time when a player’s not available it’s a disappointment – and also something I didn’t expect after last week.“
Slot will however have Jeremie Frimpong back for Saturday, saying: “He trained with us a few times this week. So he is available.”
Will Jeremie Frimpong return on Saturday?
Yes, Slot has revealed the full-back will be available for the game.
Which injury has Wirtz suffered?
