City set to continue with Puma sponsor with next season shirt

Puma and Manchester City have extended their collaboration for the 2024–2025 season. The German sportswear company has agreed to provide the Citizens with primary uniforms until 2029 for a ten-year total worth about £65 million annually.

The home, away, third and custodian jerseys will not officially go on sale until later in the summer, but supporters can usually anticipate seeing the uniforms unveiled in time for the start of the new Premier League season. Here is the first look at Manchester City 2024-25 season home jersey, according to Footy Headlines.

It offers a sneak peek at what players like Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne would be wearing in the following season, from possibly an intentional leak of the 2024–25 home uniform to City keeping wearing the Etihad major sponsor along with OKX on the sleeves.

It appears that May 16 may be the official release date of the new Man City home uniform. Robbie Huang, a Twitter user, stated that he seen what appeared to be the new Manchester City home uniform for the 2024–25 season on the Chinese Puma online store.

The standard sky blue hue will be present along with some touches of turquoise and navy, as well as white names, numbers, and emblems.

The 0161 motif on the collar and sleeve cuffs, which pays homage to the 0161 telephone area code assigned to Manchester mobile numbers, is a striking element that is inspired by graffiti. You can also make out the ‘0161’ on the inside of the garment.

The 2024–25 Man City home uniform will commemorate the team’s 20 years since moving from Maine Road, and it is anticipated to cost roughly the same as it did the previous season—roughly £75 ($95) for an adult regular jersey.

The away shirt that Puma is releasing for City this season may be modelled by the one worn against Gillingham in the team’s 1999 victory in the Second Division play-off final. Nike previously released the City’s 2018–19 away kit, which was inspired by their 1998–99 away jersey.
