The Red Devils have initiated training for their upcoming campaign.

Manchester United have now begun preparing for the 2025-26 season. With some additions to the squad, the Red Devils will be looking to come up with a better run in the Premier League this time out. Ruben Amorim will also try to incorporate some new strategies that can play an important role for them in the long run.

Manchester United have come up after summing up one of their worst English Premier League campaigns. The Ruben Amorim-led side finished 15th on the points table. They were only able to win 11 of their 38 league games.

They will now be looking to step up here. A team who were once known as one of the top clubs in the world have not been able to perform up to the standards in the last few seasons. Man United have a whole lot of work to do in the upcoming season.

The Red Devils were eliminated by Tottenham Hotspur from the 2024-25 Carabao Cup after losing in the quarterfinal by 4-3. It was a close contest, but Man United were unable to do enough to get through.

The Ruben Amorim’s men did not live up to the expectations in the FA Cup either. The Red Devils lost to Fulham on penalties. Their run ended in the fifth round of the oldest club cup competition.

Their biggest loss came when they failed to win the UEFA Europa League. The worst part was that they reached the final only to give it all away to Tottenham Hotspur. This defeat also took away their opportunity of being in the UEFA Champions League next season.

After a lacklustre season, Manchester United opted to sell some players and have already made some signings for their squad. Mathues Cunha can be considered one of the biggest additions to their lineup going forward.
