The top International teams and players will be in action

The third international break of the 2024-25 season is about to be underway and it will feature some very exciting games. The international break is not liked by all football fans as it disrupts the regular club season and adds fatigue to the players but these breaks are important as national teams need to build a strong squad for important tournaments.

UEFA Nations League and CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers will be continued during this international break and we will see some of the best players in the world representing their national teams.

Players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Vinicius Junior will all take part in upcoming international matches so let’s have a look at the Top 10 best matches to watch out for in the November International break. (Match dates may be different depending on different time zones.)

10. Jamaica vs USA

Date: November 15, 2024

Competition: Concacaf Nations League

Jamaica will host the USA in the first leg of the Quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Nations League. This will be the first competitive game for Mauricio Pochettino as the head coach of the US national team. Jamaica are in great form right now as they were undefeated in the entire group stage of the competition.

Jamaica last won against the Stars and Stripes back in 2019 and they will look to change that in their next encounter. The winner will find themselves in a very strong position to make the semi-finals of the competition.

Our next match is from Group 4, League B of the UEFA Nations League. Both teams possess incredible talent and are undefeated so far. Only two points separate the two European nations. Their match will be unmissable for all football fans as this game is a must-win for both countries in order to top the group.

Competition: FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

Argentina will travel to Paraguay for matchday 11 of the CONMEBOL 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. La Albiceleste have not won in Paraguay since 2013 and this will be another difficult test for them. Lionel Messi will play his second last game of the year and a combination of all these factors makes this clash a must-watch.

Germany are currently sitting in the top spot of their UEFA Nations League group and are in a firm position to qualify for the next round. They will face Hungary in their next clash and five points separate both sides on the points table. Germany destroyed Trikolór 5-0 in their last encounter and fans will be eager to see Hungary’s response.

Competition: UEFA Nations League

The reigning European champions will host Switzerland. Spain are currently undefeated in their ongoing UEFA Nations League campaign and currently sits on the top spot in their group. Switzerland on the other hand only have one point to their name but they have proved their ability to get the better of European giants in recent history. Spain will be without their young sensation Lamine Yamal as he will miss out due to injury and this will give the Swiss a great opportunity to cause an upset.

Only three points separate Croatia and Portugal on the points table and any slipup from either team can have an adverse effect on their future in the UEFA Nations League. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the decisive goal the last time these two teams faced each other. Led by their skipper, Luka Modric, Croatia will look to settle the score this time around. Croatia will play in front of their fans but Portugal possesses one of the best squads in world football. The game is expected to be end to end and will be decided by very fine margins.

The game ended in a 2-2 draw the last time these two teams went head-to-head. Italy have dominated this fixture in recent years and Belgium will look to change that in this upcoming match. Kevin De Bryune won’t be available for Belgium due to his ongoing injury.

His absence is not good news for The Red Devils, but Romelu Lukaku has returned to the team. They are currently third in their group and need a win to keep their qualification hopes alive. Luciano Spalletti and Domenico Tedesco will engage in an intense tactical battle and you won’t want to miss this one.
