Raul Jimenez is left out of Mexico’s squad
Mexico manager Jaime Lozano has named his 23-man squad for the upcoming CONCACAF Nations League semi-finals against Panama.
USA, Jamaica, Panama and Mexico are in the last four of the competition. These four sides play in the semis and the winning teams will face each other in the final.
Raul Jimenez has failed to make it to the national team. The Fulham striker recently recovered from a hamstring injury and is seeking his first minutes on the field since January.
Mexico have won the Gold Cup titles nine times but are yet to win a Nations League trophy. United States have won the competition in the last two editions.
All four of the Nations League finals matches will be hosted at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Pumas’ goalkeeper Julio Gonzalez remains the lone player in the 23-man roster that has yet to earn an appearance for the senior national team.
