Full list of MLS stars selected for FIFA World Cup 2026 ft. Lionel Messi & Son Heung-Min

The upcoming World Cup will witness many MLS stars.

A record 44 MLS players from 21 teams and 17 nations will compete in the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Together, they account for about 40% of the call-ups, with the United States (8) and Canada (8) having the most presence of the MLS stars heading into the tournament.

Eight other teams have three call-ups, while LAFC has a league-high four call-ups. The United States, Mexico, and Canada co-host the summer competition, which runs from June 11 to July 19.
