The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Inter Miami.

According to Neymar, it “would be interesting to revive” his legendary “MSN” strike partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez of Inter Miami.

Two of those three are currently playing in Major League Soccer, while Brazilian striker Neymar is contractually bound to Al-Hilal, a Saudi Pro League team. In the midst of widely reported injury issues, there have been rumours that the contract will be ripped up, but it is anticipated that terms that expire in the summer of 2025 will be upheld.

Neymar, 32, may have to decide on a significant professional decision this summer. A transfer that would rejoin him with ex-Barcelona teammates Messi and Suarez in the US has already been rumoured.

Quizzed by CNN Sport on whether he would like to work with familiar faces again, Neymar said: “Obviously, playing again with Messi and Suarez would be incredible. They are my friends. We still speak to each other. It would be interesting to revive this trio. I’m happy at Al-Hilal, I’m happy in Saudi Arabia, but who knows. Football is full of surprises.

“When the news came out that I was leaving Paris Saint-Germain, the transfer window was closed in the United States, so I didn’t have this option. The project they offered me (in Saudi Arabia) was very good, not just for me but also for my family, so going to Saudi Arabia was the best option.”

Neymar still has endless opportunities remaining in his career to play at the greatest level because he is five years younger than Messi and Suarez. For now, only for the 2025 MLS season, the two other South American superstars are committed to Inter Miami.

However, it will be interesting to see what Neymar’s next club would be once his deal with the Saudi club expires. The forward has recently returned from a hamstring injury and was seen participating in a practice game.
