9. Goal vs. Bayern Munich

In the Der Klassiker between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, Dembele proved decisive when he scored on his left foot to power a well-taken goal past Manuel Neuer. The match ended in the favor of Borussia Dortmund who secured a 3-2 win in that match. He would go on to achieve an outstanding debut campaign in that year netting 6 goals while assisting another 11.

6. Goal vs. Chelsea

Having been found out by Lionel Messi in the right-hand corner of the box, Dembele took a first-time shot which neither Thibaut Courtois nor Rudiger was able to save as he hit it with tremendous power into the top right corner of the goalpost. This was the first goal he scored for Barcelona with fans acknowledging his display with a huge round of applause from the fans.

Dembele scored the unthinkable in this match as he glided past Real Sociedad’s defence with his trickery before hitting a first-time left-footed strike into the bottom corner. This strike put Barcelona in a strong position in that match.
