The Ligue 1 team will face Chelsea in the final.
PSG will gear up for another final of their already trophy-laden season. This time, they prepare to face Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 final.
The French club have been ruthless against their opponents and have demonstrated no mercy, be it any club, since the start of the 2024-25 campaign.

After years of struggle to compete against top teams, PSG have now instilled fear in their opponents with their big-margin wins. Their most recent 4-0 win against Real Madrid was another testament to their competitive level and their formidable squad under the one and only Luis Enrique, who is the man behind building such a robust team.
Before they face the Blues, we take a look at their path to the final of the Club World Cup 2025.
PSG’s route to the Club World Cup 2025 final
Group stage game 1: PSG 4-0 Atletico Madrid
Fresh from their Champions League final win, PSG displayed no time in demonstrating their hegemony. They demolished Spanish club Atletico Madrid 4-0, with goals from Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Senny Mayulu and Lee Kang-in.
Group stage game 2: PSG 0-1 Botafogo
However, the French club were quickly brought down to earth by Brazilian club Botafogo, who handed Luis Enrique’s side a defeat that only a few expected. It was one of the best upsets by a lesser-known club, which demonstrated their quality and overpowered the European winners.
Igor Jesus was the goalscorer to give Botafogo that famous win that forever will remain in the memories of many Brazilian clubs’ fans.
Group stage game 3: Seattle Sounders 0-2 PSG
Despite a humbling defeat, PSG wrapped up their group stage with a win against Seattle Sounders and topped the group. However, they were put in a challenging bracket, which consisted of other top European clubs. Hence, their path to the final wasn’t easy.
Round of 16: PSG 0-4 Inter Miami
Luis Enrique’s round of 16 task was more than manageable. They faced Inter Miami and got the job done without a scratch. Given their opponent’s vulnerability, Paris Saint-Germain played with less intensity.
They still managed to score four past the MLS club with two goals from Joao Neves, an own goal from Tomas Avles and a goal from Achraf Hakimi.
Quarter-final: PSG 2-0 Bayern Munich
Their next opponents were their 2019 Champions League finalist, Bayern Munich. It was an intense game with both clubs testing each other’s mettle in the match, but they failed to find the answers to the questions.
However, PSG managed to find the breakthrough when a mistake from Harry Kane was punished by Desire Doue. They doubled their lead in the dying minutes to guarantee their spot in the semi-final.
Semi-final: PSG 4-0 Real Madrid
The semi-final stage was set for an enthralling match between 15-time Champions League winners and one-time UCL winners. But it was a different Madrid team that the Ligue 1 club knew from past meetings. The French side took no time in overpowering them with their intense pressing and forcing them to commit mistakes.
It saw them overwhelm Los Blancos and dismantle them with a 4-0 scoreline.
