RB Leipzig considering Thierry Henry for next manager role: Report

The German club feel Henry fits the bill to coach the side.
RB Leipzig will undoubtedly have a new coach this summer. To the astonishment of many, the club’s executives have selected a special candidate.
The JDDRB claims that Leipzig want to sign Thierry Henry, a great football player who played for Red Bull but in Major League Soccer.
The Bulls’ sports directors, under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp, think Henry’s traits and manner of working are ideal for the squad.
The significant number of French players in RB Leipzig’s current roster is another crucial element. This source claims that although RB Leipzig have already established preliminary contact with Henry, it is too soon to talk about a specific agreement.
Marco Rose was let go by RB Leipzig at the end of March. Zsolt Löw is acting as temporary head coach until the end of the season.
The French Olympic and youth teams were Henry’s most recent jobs. The former striker has only managed AS Monaco and Montreal at the club level.
The season for RB Leipzig has been disappointing. Marco Rose was fired as a result of the team’s failure to make an impression in the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League, even though they retained important players like Xavi Simons, Benjamin Sesko, and Lois Openda.
Leipzig’s administration is considering audacious choices, while Oliver Glasner and Cesc Fabregas are also on the shortlist. The club’s ambition is in line with Henry’s aggressive style and demonstrated ability to connect with young players.
Additionally, his prior affiliation with the New York Red Bulls has allowed him to maintain constant communication with Red Bull executives. Jürgen Klopp, who currently manages football operations for the Red Bull group, is said to have already approved the possible appointment.
However, the final decision is yet to be made as the management wants to appoint an astute head coach who can help the team return to winning ways next season.
