The Brazilian position could be under threat after the arrival of Kylian Mbappe
According to recent sources, Real Madrid have stated that they will only entertain selling their gifted striker Rodrygo for a sum of money between €100 and €120 million. These claims coincide with rumours that Liverpool may be considering the Brazilian as a potential Mohamed Salah replacement.
Rodrygo made a significant impact on Real Madrid after joining from Santos in 2019. His quick ascent has made him an indispensable member of the first squad and a major factor in the team’s victories over multiple major titles. Rodrygo, who is 23 years old, has a contract that expires in the summer of 2027 and is well-established within the club.
Despite his desire to stay at Real Madrid, Rodrygo’s playing time may be limited in the upcoming campaign, particularly if Kylian Mbappé decides to come from PSG.
The struggle to be in the starting eleven will be even more intense with the potential arrival of the French international, and Rodrygo may see a reduction in playing time.

Liverpool is getting more interested in Rodrygo as Mohamed Salah’s future becomes unclear. Salah’s deal expires in 2025, and Middle Eastern teams may be interested in signing him.
As a result, Liverpool may lose their Egyptian star this summer. In light of this, the Reds view Rodrygo as a potential Salah replacement who can provide quality on the wings and an extra offensive option.
Real Madrid is still demanding a payment of between 100 and 120 million euros for their acquisition of the Brazilian international, despite the fact that Liverpool has made a better offer for Rodrygo which is roughly 80 million euros.
On Sunday, Real Madrid defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0 at home, with goals from Rodrygo in both halves to solidify Real Madrid’s top spot in the La Liga standings. After a nice move to the perimeter of the box and eight minutes of play, the Brazilian broke the impasse as the Bilbao defence was unable to shut down the winger. He curled the ball into the back of the net.
