Archie Grey impressive performance has caught the attention of many big clubs in Europe
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are keeping a close eye on Archie Grey as they contemplate making a bid for the gifted adolescent. The 18-year-old, who has become one of England’s most in-demand players, has long been admired by the big European teams.
The Elland Road hero from Leeds has long been regarded highly, and given his family’s ties, he was certain to be a prominent player. Grey is the grandson of Frank Grey, great-nephew of Eddie Grey, and son of Andy Grey, all of whom were once Leeds players.
Now that Leeds defeated Hull City 3-1 on Monday night, the teenager has caught the attention of scouts from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.The Yorkshire team has been on a roll since the beginning of 2024, having won their last 15 games. They climbed into second spot over the Easter weekend, only one point behind leaders Ipswich, marking another significant step towards securing a Premier League comeback.This season, Grey has made two replacement appearances in addition to 35 Championship starts. The midfielder has contributed two assists, but he hasn’t yet put himself in danger of scoring.

Despite being one of Daniel Farke’s most vital players, he is drawing a lot of interest and the attention of the best clubs in Europe.
When he signed a contract with Leeds last year, the 18-year-old pledged his future to the team until 2028. The team aiming for promotion does not plan to sell Grey and believes that an instant return to the Premier League will deter any potential buyers.
Grey was being courted by Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle before signing a new contract, so these teams were eager to get their hands on him in the summer of last year.Grey has also received praise from Gareth Southgate, who stated that he is playing “very, very well” but acknowledged that the Leeds star is on his radar for an unexpected call-up to the England squad.
