Real Madrid's Rodrygo & Thibaut Courtois to miss El Clasico against Barcelona due to injury

The Brazilian is out of the El Clasico along with the main keeper.
Rodrygo suffered a hamstring injury during Real Madrid’s match against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League last night.
There were concerns raised regarding the 23-year-old forward’s availability for the weekend’s highly anticipated match against Barcelona when he was forced off the field in the 85th minute of the UCL clash against Dortmund.
The Brazilian international’s hamstring injury is severe enough to prevent him from playing against Barca, according to tests conducted today.
He will have additional examinations and tests tomorrow to determine the precise degree of his damage. Barcelona will benefit from Rodrygo’s absence because the 23-year-old forward is known for stepping up in crucial situations.
Real Madrid winger Rodrygo Goes will be ruled out of this weekend’s El Clasico due to an injury, which might be a piece of huge news for FC Barcelona.
Despite only having three goals this season, Carlo Ancelotti relies heavily on the forward, thus his absence will cause the Real Madrid manager to change his plans.
In addition to Rodrygo, Real Madrid will not have David Alaba or Dani Carvajal, two important defenders, for the Clasico.
Real Madrid’s assault will have a significant gap in Rodrygo’s absence. The 23-year-old has been an essential member for Los Blancos.
The team’s recent success has been largely down to his enthusiasm and inventiveness on the right wing, but Ancelotti will now need to find a replacement for the Barcelona match.
According to speculations, Ancelotti might move to a 4-3-1-2 system, which would put Jude Bellingham behind Vinicius JĂşnior and Kylian Mbappe in the front two.
In addition to bolstering Madrid’s midfield against their opponent, this tactical change would try to compensate for Rodrygo’s absence.
Real Madrid supporters await the team’s formal declaration regarding Rodrygo’s injury as the final decision approaches. His possible absence, with El Clásico in a few days, heightens the intrigue of an already fierce struggle for LaLiga dominance.
Thibaut Courto suffer muscle injury
Days prior to El Clasico, Real Madrid’s goalie Thibaut Courtois sustained a left adductor injury, the team said in a statement.
According to Mario Cortegana, Courtois is anticipated to miss the encounter against Barcelona and will be sidelined for two to three weeks. The club released the following statement:
“Following tests carried out on our player Thibaut Courtois by Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the adductor muscle of his left leg. Pending development.”
