What records can Erling Haaland break in Premier League 2025-26?

The Norwegian has been relentlessly scoring goals this season.

It’s only 10 Premier League games that have been played since the start of the 2025-26 new season, but Erling Haaland’s goalscoring spree has been phenomenal. He has never looked this lively during his time at City. He is currently in a league of his own.

The 25-year-old leads the top goalscoring charts of the league with 13 goals already, given that he has scored in nearly all matches this season so far. The only two games he failed to score in was a 2-0 and 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, respectively.

Meanwhile, for the national side, he has been ruthless. He has put up 25 goals from 15 matches in all competitions for club & country, registering in 11 successive matches.

Aside from those two game, Erling Haaland has been overwhelming for the opponents and centre-backs with his goalscoring exploits. This season, he is on course to break many records. Moreover, he has already broken a few records, such as becoming the fastest goalscorer to reach 50 Champions League goals.

Additionally, he is now the top Norwegian scorer in the Premier League, surpassing Ole Gunnar Solskjær, the former Manchester United forward, with 96 goals in 105 appearances.

With the pace he is scoring goals, it’s hard to fathom that he will be stopped. The striker recorded a brace in Manchester City’s 3-1 win over AFC Bournemouth, taking his Premier League goal tally to 98 goals.

Records Erling Haaland can break this season

Erling Haaland’s desperation for goals has no boundaries. He is scoring goals at a very quick rate, and there is no stopping him. He is now just two goals away from reaching 100 league goals, which will make him the fastest ever to hit 100 goals in the competition’s history — surpassing Alan Shearer’s record, who needed 125 games to do it.

His appetite for goals has been outrageous, and the centre-forward has scored in almost all stadiums (22 of the 23 grounds) in league games except one. He is yet to score at Anfield, where he will have a chance to make it 23 out of 23 in February.

Another landmark within reach is his own goalscoring tally of 36 Premier League goals he registered in the 2022/23 season. If he continues scoring goals at this rate, he will certainly surpass his own tally before the end of the campaign.

His record speaks for itself, and his scoring streak is an indication of his hunger for goals this season. He has been a different player for City. The former Borussia Dortmund forward continues to terrorise defenders with his intimidating physique and ability to find the back of the net with his clinical finishing.

Barring any injuries, if Erling Haaland continues in similar form, he will break many records this season, further defining his remarkable campaign.
