Roy Keane names Eddie Howe as ideal Manchester United manager

Howe has been linked with a role at Old Trafford.
According to Roy Keane, Eddie Howe, the manager of Newcastle United, should succeed Ruben Amorim at Manchester United because he would provide much-needed “calmness” to Old Trafford.
After firing Amorim last week due to his deteriorating relationship with the board, United are currently searching for a new manager.
After United’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United, Amorim launched a spectacular tirade over his job, which ended his wretched reign in just 14 months.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a former United manager, is the front-runner to take over as caretaker until the summer, but Darren Fletcher is now heading the club.
In his opinion, Solskjaer would “do alright,” but he could not be considered a long-term answer, according to United veteran Roy Keane.
He named Eddie Howe when asked who he would appoint, claiming that he would stabilise the team during a difficult period.
What exactly did Roy Keane say?
Keane stated to Sky Sports:
“I’d go Eddie Howe. I like him. I like what he’s done, his management. He’s managed a lot of games, when his teams are at it, they play good football. “
“I know he’s not for everyone, he’ll have his critics but I like what he’s done at Newcastle and Bournemouth, he’s managed 700 to 800 games, he’s still a young man. I love his calmness, I think sometimes Man United need a bit of that.“
“We’ve seen the previous manager going in – I like people with emotion, obviously I’m quite an emotional person. But I think his calmness, what he’s done at Newcastle, Champions League a couple of times, winning the (League) Cup. I’d be happy to see him go in there.”
Ruud van Nistelrooy, Oliver Glasner, and Luis Enrique—who may depart PSG this summer—are among the other managers connected to the position.
Solskjaer and former United footballer and coach Michael Carrick are currently the front-runners to lead till the end of the current campaign.
