Saudi Arabia announce squad for November international break; Al-Hilal star Salem Aldawsari included

The Middle Eastern side will face Australia and Indonesia.
Saudi Arabia have announced their squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers matches. They look set to close the gap between the first place Japan, who beat them during the October international break.
Meanwhile, the Middle Eastern nation are third in the table with five points in Group C. They are five points behind leaders Japan, who have 10 points.
Saudi Arabia have endured a sluggish time and have won only once in their last four matches during the qualifying matches.
However, they are tied on points with second place Australia, and their first match of the November international break will be against Socceroos. A win will see them go second three points clear of Australia.
Saudi Arabia will travel to Australia to play against them on 14th November. Then five days later they will play Indonesia away. They will hope to bounce back from their poor form after losing to Japan 2-0 during the October international break and drawing with Bahrain.
These worrisome results led to the sacking of manager Roberto Mancini. The Middle Eastern team once again brought back former coach Hervé Renard, who led them to a historic 2-1 win against Argentina in the 2022 World Cup.
Renard has called many new faces for the two matches in November as he will aim to bring Saudi Arabia back in form. They have already endured a poor spell under the former Italian coach and more defeats could affect their chances of qualification for the 2026 World Cup competition.
