The Polish striker has 20 goals this season in all competitions
Barcelona want to greatly improve their financial situation this summer, and Saudi Arabia might be their salvation. Following rumours that Raphinha could receive a €100 million bid from the area, Robert Lewandowski, the team’s best-paid player, is reportedly purported to have received a bid as well.
Robert Lewandowski has reportedly received an offer to join a Middle Eastern team for €100 million a season, according to MD. Saudi Arabia would be contacting the Polish striker for the second summer in a row; they were not successful in 2023, but perhaps things would work out this time.
Still, it’s doubtful. According to the article, Lewandowski is solely considering sticking with Barcelona, where he has a contract that runs at least through 2025 (with a one-year option for renewal). This would undoubtedly irritate some members of the club’s administration, who are reportedly in a desperate attempt to offload Lewandowski this summer due to his exorbitant salary, which they are unable to pay due to their financial difficulties. He still has time to think about leaving Barcelona, though.
Lewandowski’s decision to join Barça and leave Bayern was a pivotal moment in his career. Even though he hasn’t scored many goals this season, he took the risk because he was drawn to the idea and wanted to live in Barcelona.

Barça can only sell the player after June 30 if necessary, and for the time being, everyone involved is in agreement that continuity is what they want. Whether the Saudi petrodollars will disrupt this peace is yet to be determined, but the striker’s disposition and his drive
