Saudi Pro League winners: Full list of every champion

Al Hilal are the most successful club in Saudi Arabia
The top flight of association football in Saudi Arabia is the Saudi Pro League (SPL), additionally referred to as the Roshn Saudi League (RSL) due to sponsorship.
The 1976–1977 season was the inaugural competition season. Up until the 1989–90 season, the league was run as a round-robin competition. The Saudi Federation then made the decision to combine the football league and the King’s Cup into a single competition and introduce the Golden Box.
The top four clubs from the regular league season would compete in a knockout competition at the end of the season called the Golden Box. To determine who would be the Saudi Arabian champions, each of these teams would face off in a semi-final round. In 2007–08, the league went back to a round-robin format.
The league’s clubs consistently and successfully place in the AFC Champions League, earning the association the highest coefficient in Asia. The most successful team is Al Hilal, who have won 18 titles overall and most recently in 2023–2024. Among the most prosperous teams in the league are Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Nassr.
The league became a star-studded league right away in 2023 after gaining a lot of worldwide attention and recruiting many elite players from European leagues with highly lucrative contracts.
