Serbia vs England: All-time head-to-head record

Serbia are making their first appearance at the Euros as an independent nation.
Serbia and England clash in their opening Euro 2024 group stage match on Sunday. Both teams are looking to end their long droughts at this tournament.
England have been a powerhouse in recent years, reaching the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup and the final of Euro 2020 before losing on penalties to Italy. Led by manager Gareth Southgate, they are one of the favourites to win Euro 2024. Their attack is spearheaded by star striker Harry Kane and has talented young players like Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka providing support.
However, England have some injury concerns in defence with Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw currently sidelined. They may need to field an inexperienced backline against Serbia’s dangerous attacking duo of Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Vlahovic. Mitrovic scored 28 goals in the Saudi league this season.
Serbia are making their first appearance at the Euros as an independent nation after previously playing as Yugoslavia and FR Yugoslavia.
While not considered one of the elite teams, Serbia have enough firepower to pull off an upset if England’s defence struggles.
