La Roja head coach Luis de la Fuente and the team need to overlook the controversy surrounding the RFEF and focus on the task ahead. They are in a challenging Group B alongside Croatia, defending European champions Italy, and surprise package Albania.

Spain’s 2023 UEFA Nations League championship and nearly flawless Euro 2024 qualification campaign have been overshadowed by months of turmoil. However, under the steady leadership of De la Fuente, their youthful and talented core is on the rise.

After two devastating shootout losses in the Euro 2020 semifinal against Italy and the 2022 World Cup round of 16 against Morocco, Spain appears ready to rise from the gloom of the past decade.
