Which stadium will host the Spain vs Cape Verde?

The Spain vs Cape Verde clash in the 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place at the Atlanta Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The retractable-roof multipurpose stadium is also known as the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Atlanta Stadium is the home venue for two major professional sports teams. The first team is the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL), while the second one is the Atlanta United FC of Major League Soccer (MLS). Interestingly, both teams are owned by Arthur Blank’s AMB Group.

The stadium is also famous for setting massive attendance records. The teams often expand the stadium’s seating bowl past 70,000 for their matches. The standard seating capacity of the Atlanta-based multipurpose stadium is 71,000, but it can be expanded to 75,000 for American football.

The stadium is hosting a total of eight matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including five group-stage games, a round of 32, a round of 16, and one semi-final. The tournament final will be played at MetLife Stadium on July 19.
