After being held to a 1-1 draw by Qatar in their opening game, the Murat Yakin-led side secured a dominating 4-1 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina in their second group stage outing. They started the game not on the best note, but managed to come out on top after putting on a strong show in the second half. The Switzerland national football team are set to face one of the co-hosts in their next game and it will now be interesting to see their performance here.

The Canada men’s national soccer team came up with a top performance against Qatar. Jesse Marsch’s men showed exactly what they are capable of and after the Maroons were reduced to 9 men, it only became easy for them. Les Rouges are now aiming to secure a spot in the FIFA World Cup 2026 round of 32. They cannot afford to lose the game here. With a draw, they can secure a spot in the knockout stage for sure.
