TikTok becomes official 'entertainment partners' of German national football team
TikTok content produced by the DFB has been viewed over 162 million times
The official entertainment partner of the men’s national team of Germany is now TikTok. The social media network will enable the creation of fresh, more imaginative material and provide fans with other ways to stay current about Germany.
The collaboration will begin with the next matches against the Netherlands and France, the World Cup runners-up, and will continue into this summer’s home European Championships. Aside from providing fans with exclusive footage and setting up partnerships with other content producers, TikTok will be promoted in stadiums and on hoardings during international games.
Since June 2022, the Deutsche Fußball-Bund (DFB) has maintained an active presence on the social media network. The channel currently has nearly 500,000 subscribers, and some of its videos have received millions of views. With more than 17 million views, the most-watched video on the page. Over 162 million people have seen DFB-produced TikTok video overall.
“We are overjoyed to have Tiktok join the men’s national team as a partner. Global expansion is underway for the vibrant entertainment platform TikTok. Young people love TikTok, and older users are already beginning to use the app more frequently. Together, the DFB and TikTok will present the men’s national team and the local community in and around EURO 2024 to a worldwide viewership.
The agreement will boost the DFB’s visibility on the platform and offer our fans exclusive online experiences, according to Dr. Holger Blask, managing director of sales and marketing at DFB GmbH & Co. KG.

The German Football Association (DFB) recently declared that it would be working with Nike as its uniform provider from 2027 to 2034, bringing an end to its 70-year partnership with rival maker Adidas.All four of the men’s German national team’s World Cup victories—the first coming in 1954—came in outfits made by Adidas. Before Nike takes over the next year, the 2026 edition will serve as the last competition in which they will wear the German brand’s emblem on their jersey.
