Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League
Richarlison will be sidelined by injury for Tottenham’s Premier League encounter against Nottingham Forest, according to Ange Postecoglou.
Postecoglou has stated that the Brazilian, who had barely recovered to duty before last month’s international break due to a knee injury, is going to miss this weekend’s match due to a “bit of a niggle” in his knee.
But he shouldn’t be sidelined for too long because he is expected to play again for Tottenham against Newcastle United next week. It also means that in the match against the East Midlands club, Dejan Kulusevski will compete for his place in the starting lineup against Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, and Son Heung-min.
When discussing the most recent developments about injuries heading into this weekend, the Australian told SPURSPLAY:
“Richarlison will miss the game against Nottingham Forest with a niggle in his knee”.
Regarding the more serious ailments, Postecoglou disclosed that Manor Solomon, Fraser Forster, and Ryan Sessegnon continue to remain in the medical room and are uncertain to return this season.

The manager of Spurs has revealed that they hope to have Richarlison back against Newcastle.
Forest’s match against North London, initially slated for Monday, takes place on Sunday evening. Next Saturday, Spurs and Newcastle will play at St. James’ Park.
Ange also revealed something intriguing about the injured players in the video: while they continue to heal, Fraser Forster, Ryan Sessegnon, and Manor Solomon are all “unlikely to play again this year,” according to Ange. That’s unfortunate, but hardly shocking at this point.
It seems that Sess and Solomon in particular should have known by now if they were planning to be involved in any way this season. I’m not sure what this Tottenham team’s future has for them come football season, but maybe they can all recuperate well and carry on with their professions.
