The English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have caught the eye of many people after they defeated Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League 2024-25 final to clinch their first major trophy in 17 years.

It was a great run for the North London club in the European competition, but the same cannot be said for their performances in the domestic competitions.

Thomas Frank was appointed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur. Since then, their pre-season run has not been the best. Spurs were only able to secure a single win in their last five pre-season games.

They lost their last match against Bayern Munich. It was a poor effort by the Premier League club.

The Europa League winners will be looking to step up, as it is going to be a tough challenge when they take on treble winners Paris Saint-Germain. The Spurs will have to come up with unique strategies if they want to stand a chance against the Parisians.

They have struggled in the attacking front, but with the likes of Richarlison and Brenan Johnson in the attacking front, Tottenham might have a chance. They will have to make some extra efforts if they want to get through to PSG’s defence.

Their midfield has gained a little strength as they have signed Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich. This is going to be a big addition for the North London club after having already signed Mohammed Kudus.

They do have a decent defence, but they will have to work hard to stop the aggressive Paris Saint-Germain. It will be interesting to see their performance in the UEFA Super Cup final. Spurs do have a new manager, and Thomas Frank is still settling in with the squad.
