Iceland lead the group standings after matchday 1.

Turkey will play Iceland for their second UEFA Nations League fixture on Tuesday. The Crescent-Stars were held to a 0-0 draw by Wales in their opening encounter. They are currently placed third in their group.

The Crescent-Stars will want to get back to winning ways against Iceland having failed to win their last couple of games. Vincenzo Montella’s men are the favourites to win their group and they need to play as favourites.

Iceland on the other hand are enjoying a good run of form having won two of their last three games, including a famous 1-0 win over England. The Strákarnir Okkar have won five of their seven games in 2024 and are flying high. Although they’re ranked 45 places below the Crescent Stars, they have the potential to pull off an upset.

The 34-year-old attacking midfielder put up an excellent performance for Iceland in their 2-0 win over Montenegro.
