Following the FIFA deadline of June 1 for all participating nations to submit their final rosters, Uzbekistan’s final 26-man World Cup team will be formally revealed on June 2, 2026.
The 40-person provisional training group that head coach Fabio Cannavaro is presently working with in Tashkent will be reduced to the final roster prior to the FIFA World Cup 2026 announcement.
A larger team has been assembled for a three-week training camp in Tashkent from May 6–26 as Uzbekistan’s FIFA World Cup 2026 preparations pick up steam.
For the camp at the National Football Centre, head coach Fabio Cannavaro has selected 40 players. The team will play a series of friendly games against domestic Super League teams behind closed doors.
