The highly-anticipated Copa America 2024 quarter-finals will finally take centre stage following an exciting series of group matches. One of the four quarter-finals will witness underdogs Venezuela and tournament debutants Canada lock horns with each other for a place in the semi-finals. Venezuela have surpassed everyone’s expectations by winning their group with three wins in as many games.

Canada, on the other hand, have also outperformed by reaching the knockout rounds of the tournament in their first attempt. The Reds recovered from their opening day defeat to world champions Argentina and managed to finish second in Group A, with four points to their name. Both teams have been the surprise packages of the tournament so far, but only one can advance further to the final four.
